Sparta announce an October 2026 UK and European tour behind their sixth LP Cut A Silhouette, out May 29 via Equal Vision/Rude Records.

Sparta have announced a UK and European run this October to support their sixth LP, Cut A Silhouette, which arrives May 29 via Equal Vision/Rude Records. The album is available to pre-order here, and has been previewed by the single “Everything You Say“.
The Texas alt-rock outfit will kick the short run off in Dublin on October 4 and move through a string of intimate venues across the UK — Bristol, Manchester, Nottingham, Glasgow, Huddersfield, Birmingham, London, Brighton and St Albans — before crossing the Channel for shows in Paris, Arnhem, Cologne, Berlin, Hamburg and a final stop in Kortrijk, Belgium on October 22. The album’s title reportedly came from a line in a documentary about the late comedian John Candy: Macaulay Culkin describes Candy’s presence as something that “just entered your brain and cut a silhouette”, a phrase that stuck with frontman Jim Ward and shaped the record’s ambition.
