PNAU Reveal Seventh Album AHHCade and Drop New Single “Nirvana” with EARTHGANG and sadMONTH

PNAU have announced AHHCade, their seventh studio album, and marked the news by releasing “Nirvana,” a new collaboration with Atlanta duo EARTHGANG and sadMONTH, which arrived on May 8.

Nick Littlemore frames AHHCade as an inward move made for the dancefloor. “There is a sense of belonging about music, about the journey we have taken,” he says, describing a record that aims to be “a home on the dancefloor, between the ears of the listener.” The album is due July 31 via Sydney indie label etcetc, part of TMRW Music, and Littlemore keeps coming back to one phrase: “We are making heart songs.” Electronics and production may be the tools, but the intent is emotional.

The new record already houses the taut, Spanish-tinged “Tu Corazon (Your Heart)” featuring Mexican rock trio The Warning, and now the more aggressive, genre-blurring “Nirvana.” The latter is the first public offering from sadMONTH, a creative project helmed by Littlemore alongside Toronto producer Dom Dias, and it pairs that spark with EARTHGANG’s rowdy energy.

“It represents the birth of a new era,” Littlemore says of “Nirvana.” “It’s fierce, feverish and harks back to the shape of punk electronic yet to come. Get ready to be uptight, upgrooved and unhinged for a new disorder.”

EARTHGANG echoed that intent in their own words: “For ‘Nirvana’ we tapped the euphoric and enlightened energy with PNAU, and surfed the electro crush. We appreciate everybody who poured their energy into making it a banger.”

Reps promise more “surprising” collaborations are on the way, so AHHCade looks to be a record built as much from guests as from PNAU’s long-running chemistry. Littlemore and Peter Mayes have been making records together since they were teenagers; PNAU follow up 2024’s Sambanova with this collection, continuing a career that has threaded through mainstream pop moments and club-floor experiments alike.

Their résumé includes the 2012 Good Morning to the Night project with Elton John, which topped the Official UK Albums Chart, and the 2021 resurgence with Elton and Dua Lipa on the remix “Cold Heart,” a global smash that helped introduce PNAU’s production to a wider audience. AHHCade appears to pick up both those instincts: pop-minded, but reaching for a new, urgent energy.

Tour and live life

To support the album, PNAU will launch the Australian leg of the Nirvana Tour 2026 next month. The East Coast run opens Friday, June 19 at Gilligan’s in Cairns and wraps July 4 at Woodport Hotel, Erina — dates that should give fans a concentrated taste of AHHCade before the record lands on July 31. Expect live rooms that lean into the “home on the dancefloor” idea: close, sweaty, and attuned to those heart songs.
