Olivia Rodrigo doubles London dates on 2027 Unraveled Tour after pre-sale frenzy

Olivia Rodrigo has doubled her London dates on the 2027 Unraveled Tour after a pre-sale rush. The O2 run expands from four to eight shows, with extra nights added across Europe and North America. Her third album drops June 12 via Geffen; tickets on sale May 7.

Olivia Rodrigo has added a second wave of dates to her Unraveled Tour after a pre-sale rush that felt like a coordinated front-row takeover. The headline news for U.K. fans: The O2 run in London has been expanded from four shows to eight, now stretching beyond the original April 5 to 9 run to include April 12, 14, 15 and 19.

The additions read like a direct answer to ticket-site chaos. Fans reported refreshes, queue-hopping and alerts at first light; by the time the public sale was announced, demand had already forced Rodrigo’s team to stitch more dates onto the map. It is the kind of surge that turns a regular arena run into something that feels unavoidable — in a good way, mostly.

Other European cities picked up extras too: Amsterdam gains nights on March 27 and 28, Barcelona adds May 5 and 6, and Paris gets a second night on April 24. Across the pond, Los Angeles saw three additional dates in January (20, 21 and 24) and Brooklyn picked up February 19 and 20. Tickets go on general sale Thursday, May 7 at 12pm local time.

Rodrigo announced the tour last week as the live arm for her third album, You Seem Pretty Sad For A Girl So In Love, which arrives June 12 via Geffen. She’ll be taking company on the road: Wolf Alice, The Last Dinner Party, Devon Again, Die Spitz and Grace Ives are listed among the support acts, a line-up that reads less like a generic opening slot parade and more like a curated alternative-pop mix.

There have already been small, telling previews of the new record. The lead single, Drop Dead, was debuted in public during Addison Rae’s set at Coachella, showed up again at a surprise open-mic in New York and made an SNL appearance. At a phone-free listening event in Los Angeles Rodrigo even performed a new collaboration with Weyes Blood, Begged, in a near-whispered setting that made the room feel like one long exhale.

She has talked about the album as experimental and full of sad love songs, and namechecked a varied set of influences — The Cure, New Order, Joy Division, The White Stripes and Bikini Kill — which explains the record’s occasional strain toward post-punk guitars and minor-key melodrama. There are already whispers about a possible cameo from Geese frontman Cameron Winter after he was spotted having dinner with Rodrigo, a rumor fans have chewed on between ticket confirmations.

Context matters here. Rodrigo moved from breakout teenager to festival headliner fast: the road began as an arena celebration for Sour in 2022 and widened dramatically with her 2025 Guts World Tour, a 95-show marathon that reportedly pulled in more than 1.4 million fans. That run included a headline slot on Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage where she brought out Robert Smith, an image that has stuck with a lot of new fans.

There is no doubt about the commitment that Rodrigo has put into this set. For the few naysayers doubting whether or not the 22-year-old was ready to take on the coveted Pyramid slot, this is one that will stand the test of time and leave us impatient for the Glasto magic to return.

For now, the story is simple: demand forced action. Rodrigo’s camp added shows to meet it, and fans scrambled to secure places in what already feels like the next big pop event. Whether Unraveled turns into another era-defining run will depend on how the new songs land live, but on paper this looks like a tour designed to be talked about — from the surprise open-mic moments to an expanded eight-night O2 residency that will give Londoners a few more chances to find out what the next chapter sounds like.
