Hayley Williams turns The Hayley Williams Show into a North and Latin American tour, promising solo sets and “exciting surprises”

Hayley Williams has expanded The Hayley Williams Show into a full-blown North and Latin American tour, promising to dig through her solo catalog and deliver what a press release teases as “exciting surprises.” The run kicks off September 3 at the iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, Florida, and threads through major amphitheaters and arenas before moving into a Latin American leg in November.

This extension grows out of a short run Williams had first announced — a lineup that initially looked like a handful of headline moments, including a date at Espaço Unimed in São Paulo and shows at Forest Hills Stadium and the Hollywood Bowl. The announcement itself was cheeky in tone: she rolled out the plan by sharing an assortment of sly quips from online fans who speculated that Paramore increasingly feels like Williams’ own project.

The new North American dates drop in September and October with stops across the Southeast, the Midwest, and the West Coast, and the tour heads to Latin America in November with shows across Colombia, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Mexico, and Puerto Rico.

On support and charity, Williams has lined up Annie DiRusso for the Latin America and Puerto Rico dates, while Magdalena Bay and Rico Nasty will open the North American leg. The tour will also give back: $1 from every North American ticket sold will go directly to REVERB and Support+Feed.

Williams’ recent solo era has been a fertile one. Last autumn she surprise-released Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party, an album that NME awarded five stars and praised for its confident, forward-looking songwriting. Since then Williams has continued to expand her profile outside of Paramore, including a new collaboration with Daniel James under the name Power Snatch.
