Delta Goodrem Announces New Album Pure Ahead of Eurovision Performance

Delta Goodrem announces Pure, her first album with Universal Music via Better Now Records/Electrola, ahead of her 2026 Eurovision performance.

Delta Goodrem is heading into Eurovision with a new album in tow. The Australian pop star has announced Pure, due Nov. 6, which arrives through a new deal with Universal Music via Better Now Records/Electrola. It’s also the first album released under her independent label ATLED Records, the imprint she launched in 2023 after ending a long-running partnership with Sony Music.

“I am so excited to be stepping into this new chapter and joining forces with Universal Music,” Goodrem said in a statement. “It marks the beginning of a powerful new home for ATLED Records – something I am incredibly proud of – and I can’t wait to share what we create together.”

Pure follows Goodrem’s 2021 album Bridge Over Troubled Dreams, released via Sony Music, and continues a run that has made her one of the most dominant album artists in Australian pop. The Sydney singer and songwriter has already notched five ARIA Albums Chart leaders, beginning with her 23-times platinum debut Innocent Eyes in March 2003, followed by Mistaken Identity in November 2004, Delta in October 2007 and Wings Of The Wild in July 2016.

Goodrem says the record has been taking shape over the past few years and represents something of a reset. “Pure is an album I’ve been creating and living through over the past few years, and it truly feels like a return to myself and the heart of who I am as an artist,” she said. “It holds some of my biggest singalongs, my most vulnerable moments, and brings in all the elements I love most in music – from intimate classical piano pieces to uplifting cinematic anthems. I cannot wait for everyone to step into the world of Pure and make these songs part of their own story too.”

The album includes the single “Eclipse,” which Goodrem will bring to the stage later this week at the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, Austria. It marks her first time representing Australia at the competition, a pretty major moment for an artist who has spent years as one of the country’s most familiar pop figures.

“Eclipse” was written by Goodrem, Ferras Alqaisi, Jonas Myrin and Michael Fatkin, who also produced the track.

In Australia, Goodrem’s résumé is hard to overstate. A soapie star who signed her first record deal at 15, she has collected 12 ARIA Awards and five No. 1 albums, while Innocent Eyes spent 29 weeks at No. 1 on the ARIA Albums Chart, making it the highest-selling debut album in Australian recorded music history. It won seven ARIA Awards, became the highest-selling album in Australia for two straight years and produced five of her nine career No. 1 singles. Across her albums, her sales are close to 10 million.

A classically trained pianist, Goodrem says she’ll be bringing harp and piano into her Eurovision performance for the contest’s 70th edition. “Performing on the Eurovision stage is something I feel so deeply in my heart, carrying Australia with me in every note and every moment,” she said in a separate statement.

She is set to perform “Eclipse” at the Wiener Stadthalle during Semi-Final 2 on Thursday, May 14 at 3 p.m. ET, which is Friday, May 15 at 5:00 a.m. AEST.
