Jamie Foxx Reportedly Expecting First Baby With Girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp

Jamie Foxx is reportedly about to add another chapter to his family story, with news that he and girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp are expecting their first child together. Foxx already has two daughters from previous relationships, making this his third child overall.

TMZ first reported the pregnancy on Tuesday, May 12, and People later confirmed it. Billboard has reached out to Foxx’s representative for comment.

Foxx became a father more than three decades ago, welcoming daughter Corinne with ex Connie Kline. He later had another daughter, 17-year-old Anelise, with ex Kristin Grannis.

Foxx and Huckstepp are said to have started dating in 2023. According to reports, they split briefly in early 2025 before getting back together a few months later. The news lands in the wake of a difficult stretch in Foxx’s life, after he suffered a life-threatening brain bleed and stroke in 2023 that required emergency surgery.

He opened up about that experience in his Netflix special, Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was…, describing the intensity of his recovery in stark terms. “I saw the tunnel. I didn’t see the light,” he recalled. “It was hot in that tunnel. Sh–, am I going to the wrong place in this motherf–er? Because I looked at the end of the tunnel, and I thought I saw the devil, like, ‘C’mon. Or is that [Diddy]?’”

Foxx has also spoken about how much his daughters helped him through that period. He said Anelise played guitar for him in his hospital room, while Corinne protected his privacy during recovery. “I didn’t want you to see me like that,” he added. “I want you to see me like this.”
