Gracie Abrams has announced her third album, Daughter From Hell, due July 17, with lead single “Hit the Wall” arriving May 14.

Gracie Abrams has officially lined up her third studio album. On Monday, May 11, the singer-songwriter revealed on Instagram that Daughter From Hell is coming July 17, alongside the cover art and the kind of caption that makes it clear she knows the fan wait has been real: “My third album is out July 17,” she wrote. “Whoa whoa whoa. Freaking out.”
The cover leans into the sort of intimate, slightly unsettling imagery Abrams has been teasing around this era. It shows her in a crouched pose, photographed close up, eyes fixed somewhere off in the distance. “I am so ready for it to be yours,” she added about the LP.
The album countdown page on Spotify says Daughter From Hell will run 16 tracks and include the lead single “Hit the Wall,” which arrives Thursday, May 14. Aaron Dessner, Abrams’ longtime collaborator, produced the project. He also worked on her 2023 debut Good Riddance and her 2024 follow-up The Secret of Us.
That last album marked the biggest leap in her album chart history so far. Good Riddance reached No. 52 on the Billboard 200, while The Secret of Us climbed to No. 2, powered in part by breakout singles like “That’s So True” and “I Love You, I’m Sorry.”
Abrams has been signaling that new music was coming for a while now. In her 2025 Billboard cover story, she said she and Dessner were “catching each other in these little pockets between hectic times” to get studio time whenever they could.
“Every day that I live with the music, things start to become a little clearer,” she said then. “There’s something we’re starting to crack that is making both of us feel energized.”
By April, the hints were getting harder to miss. She posted photos of her journal decorated with “DFH” stickers, giving fans another piece of the puzzle before the full announcement landed.
Gracie Abrams is back, and Daughter From Hell now has a date, a title, and a first single on the way.
