Cardi B and Stefon Diggs Reunite at Mother’s Day Event, Fueling Reconciliation Buzz

Cardi B appeared at Stefon Diggs’ Mother’s Day event, sparking fresh reconciliation rumors after months of split speculation.

Cardi B turned up at Stefon Diggs’ Diggs Deep Foundation Mother’s Day wellness event on Saturday, May 9, and just like that, the internet had questions again.

Clips from the Washington, D.C. gathering quickly spread across social media, showing the rapper and the NFL star together, posing for photos and generally looking comfortable in each other’s company. Cardi showed up in a brown midiskirt, while Diggs wore a pink hoodie stamped with the phrase “I Heart Home.” Their relationship status is still unclear, but the weekend appearance was enough to set off fresh reconciliation rumors.

According to a video shared on X by reporter Kelsey Nicole Nelson, the two also packed on the PDA, with Diggs planting a kiss on his baby mother’s head during the event.

Diggs later posted a note on Instagram after the Mother’s Day event, writing, “A moment for the Moms. Thank you to all the mothers for showing up yesterday and to all of our sponsors and vendors. It was a time,” a post that Cardi liked. The foundation event, as its name suggests, was centered on wellness and held in honor of Mother’s Day.

Billboard has reached out to reps for Cardi and Diggs for comment.

The pair went public with their relationship in May 2025, but things appeared to cool off after the Super Bowl in February. Around that time, Cardi seemed to acknowledge the split onstage during her Feb. 15 Los Angeles show, saying, “Just because I ain’t f–king with my baby daddy doesn’t mean you get to talk about my baby daddy.”

Cardi and Diggs, who is currently without an NFL team, welcomed a son in November. It was Cardi B’s first child with the former New England Patriot. She also shares three children, Wave, Kulture and Blossom, with estranged husband Offset.

Before the Mother’s Day weekend appearance, fans were already reading signs of a possible thaw after Diggs pulled up to the D.C. stop of Cardi’s Little Miss Drama Tour at Capital One Arena on April 8.
