Snoop Dogg, Tori Kelly, Ado and Satoshi Fujihara Unite on the ‘Stranger Than Heaven’ Game Anthem

Snoop Dogg, Tori Kelly, Ado and Satoshi Fujihara team on the lavish theme for Like A Dragon spinoff Stranger Than Heaven, due this winter.

The new trailer for Stranger Than Heaven didn’t just introduce a fresh cast and story — it handed fans a full-throttle theme song that pairs Snoop Dogg and Tori Kelly with Japanese stars Ado and Satoshi Fujihara.

Stranger Than Heaven, a spinoff from the Like A Dragon universe, will arrive later this year and its cast-anchoring main theme landed alongside the game’s new footage. “The main theme is a luxurious collaboration thats so extravagant its almost beyond comprehension,” Ado explained on X. Check out the track below:

Beyond the music, all four contributors are tied into the game as characters: Snoop Dogg voices Orpheus, Tori Kelly plays Kelly Day, Ado is Keiko Shirai and Satoshi Fujihara portrays Takashi. That crossover casting makes the theme feel less like a soundtrack placement and more like an in-world anthem.

Music as gameplay

Stranger Than Heaven frames itself as a fifty-year action-adventure saga about men scraping for a place to call home. The twist is how the game folds performance into survival. Set across five cities and eras Fukuoka (1915), Hiroshima (1929), Osaka (1943), Shizuoka (1951) and Tokyo (1965) the hero Makoto is as much a showman as a brawler.

“In order to get these shows off the ground, Makoto must gather rumours from the streets and use them to scout skilled singers and performers,” developers said. “He can then head out into town to create new musiccollecting any and every sound he can find: the swish of a broom, snoring of a sleepy neighbour, the rumble of passing trains, distant animal cries, even the grunts and growls of the enemies he fights.”

Those found sounds become raw material for original tracks. Players will assemble setlists, arrange bands, assign casts and design production elements from lighting to staging as they tour Japan. Its a weirdly theatrical mission structure: fight for survival with violence, and forge fame with music.

The result: an idea of a game where backstage hustle and onstage spectacle feel equally central. For fans of artist-driven soundtracks, having names like Snoop and Tori attached to both a song and characters raises the stakes for how players will experience those performances in-game.

Stranger Than Heaven is due this winter on Xbox, PlayStation and PC.

In other industry news, an official Paranormal Activity game was reportedly scrapped after Paramount allegedly declined to grant the creators additional time on the project.
