NBA YoungBoy has withdrawn from Rolling Loud Orlando (May 7). Ken Carson replaces him as Sunday headliner at Camping World Stadium.

NBA YoungBoy announced on Thursday, May 7, that he will not be performing at this weekend’s Rolling Loud in Orlando, saying he needs a break from touring and that he won’t be making it this time.

The announcement arrived via the artist’s Instagram Stories:
To my Rolling Loud family, I won’t be making it this time. I just need some time away from traveling and performing right now. Love to everybody supporting me, I’ll forever appreciate y’all!
Rolling Loud quickly reposted the message to their own Stories, and minutes later updated the festival lineup to promote Ken Carson to Sunday headliner. The festival’s caption alongside the new poster reads, “PLEASE WELCOME OUR NEW SUNDAY HEADLINER, @kencarson,” as shown on the lineup post.
The three-day event opens Friday at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, with Don Toliver closing out the first night and Playboi Carti topping Saturday’s bill. Carson, who was not previously listed on the Orlando bill, now carries Sunday night — the slot originally earmarked for YoungBoy.
Other names set to perform this weekend include Sexyy Red, Chief Keef, EsDeeKid, Pooh Shiesty and PlaqueBoyMax, among others. For fans attending, the late change reshuffles expectations for Sunday without altering the festival’s stacked, rap-forward lineup.
This is Rolling Loud’s first Orlando edition after a decade of festivals in Miami. Orlando is also the only U.S. stop Rolling Loud has slated for this year, following editions in the New York and Los Angeles areas. The brand has continued to expand globally; the most recent overseas festival took place last year in India with headliners Central Cee, Wiz Khalifa, Karan Aujla and Don Toliver.
Ken Carson arrives into the slot on some momentum of his own. He earned his first Billboard 200 No. 1 album last year with More Chaos and had been booked to headline Rolling Loud Australia before that March event was canceled.
