Little Grandad have released debut singles ‘Sleepwalking’ and ‘Unmasked’ and announced a three-night London residency for July, following a sold-out 100 Club headline and more than 70 live shows.

Little Grandad have released their first official tracks, Sleepwalking and Unmasked, while confirming a three-night London residency this summer.
The group is led by brothers Jack and Harry Lower, with Ned Ashcroft on guitar and trumpet plus songwriting duties, and Jimmy Brennan on drums. What started around a shared love of Chet Baker has quickly turned into a serious live operation: more than 70 shows in the last year, and a reputation built room by room rather than online hype.
Those miles are now feeding into recorded form. Produced by Kev Jones at The Church and The Communion Studios, both songs arrive just after the band’s sold-out headline night at the 100 Club.
Sleepwalking leans into a soft-focus ache, with country-tinged acoustic guitar carrying Harry Lower’s vocal: “I’ve been sleepwalking, through my life / Yes I’ve been sleepwalking, drifting through time / And I’ve been wasting away, I’m burning through the years.” It feels spacious but unsettled, a track that moves gently while saying something heavier.
Unmasked takes an even more introspective route. The arrangement thins out as it goes, eventually putting the vocal and a bruised, melodic trumpet line at the center. Harry sings, “Oh babe please don’t ever change / Don’t let them ruin your tomorrow days / You were always there through my comfort and my pain,” before the song turns toward regret: “And I’m well aware this could’ve been my worst mistake / The thought of letting you slip away / I now watch from the sidelines / And I’m barely that familiar face.”
Alongside the singles, Little Grandad have announced three consecutive headline shows in London: Shacklewell Arms on July 8, The George Tavern on July 9, and The Windmill on July 10. General sale opens May 13 at 10am BST via Dice, with pre-sale access from May 12.
Beyond the residency, the band’s 2026 schedule remains packed, including festival appearances at Dot To Dot and End Of The Road, where they join bills featuring Super Furry Animals, Kurt Vile, Fat Dog, Lambrini Girls, Fcukers, NewDad and more.
