Post Malone will headline Strummingbird 2026 across Ballarat, Newcastle, and the Sunshine Coast, returning to Australia after his sold-out 2023 run and extending his country era led by F-1 Trillion.

Post Malone is headed back to Australia, this time as the top-billed name at Strummingbird 2026. Organizers confirmed Tuesday that the Grammy-nominated artist will headline the touring country festival across three October dates, marking his first Australian run since his sold-out 2023 appearance at Splendour in the Grass.
Presented by Kicks Entertainment, Strummingbird will stop at Victoria Park in Ballarat on Oct. 10, Newcastle Foreshore on Oct. 17, and Kawana Sports Precinct on the Sunshine Coast on Oct. 18. Presale begins Wednesday, May 13, with general ticket sales opening Thursday, May 14 through strummingbird.com.au.
Malone’s booking comes after a full-on country chapter that accelerated with F-1 Trillion. The album landed a Grammy nod for Best Country Album and paired him with heavyweights including Dolly Parton, Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton, Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton, Lainey Wilson, and Jelly Roll. It also delivered “I Had Some Help” with Morgan Wallen, which reached the Hot 100 top 10 after the album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in 2024.
His Strummingbird slot follows major festival sets at Coachella and Stagecoach in 2025, where the crossover run from pop-rap mainstay to country headliner has looked less like a side quest and more like a durable second act.
Second on the lineup is Bailey Zimmerman, whose rise has been quick and loud since Religiously. The Album.. His 2025 follow-up, Different Night Same Rodeo, included a Luke Combs collaboration, and his Stagecoach cover of Miley Cyrus’ “The Climb” circulated widely online. Cooper Alan, known for “Plead the Fifth” and “Take Forever (Hally’s Song),” is also among the top international bookings.
The broader bill mixes U.S. and Australian talent, with Cam, Stella Lefty, Dexter & The Moonrocks, Cigarettes @ Sunset, Kaitlin Butts, Noah Rinker, and Brad Cox joining the tour. Australian acts include Sons of the East, Max Jackson, Mack Geiger, Briana Dinsdale, and Sara Berki. Country DJ Willie Pake is slated for late-night sets at all three stops, while Maddison Glover will lead line-dancing sessions.
Each city also gets a local hometown artist on the lineup: Lewis Love in Ballarat, Gamilaraay artist Loren Ryan in Newcastle, and Sammy White on the Sunshine Coast.
