At the 2026 Met Gala, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, Rosé, Lisa and Jennie arrived solo and served four distinct looks, from Dior florals and YSL bird motifs to Robert Wun sculpture and Chanel sequined leaves.

BLACKPINK turned the 2026 Met Gala carpet into four distinct solo moments.
On Monday, May 4, Jisoo, Rosé, Lisa and Jennie arrived separately at the Metropolitan Museum of Art for this year’s “Costume Art” exhibition, with a “Fashion Is Art” dress code that pushed each member toward a different visual lane.
Jisoo, making her Met Gala debut, wore a sparkling pink floral custom Dior look by Jonathan Anderson, paired with a vintage Cartier necklace. Speaking with Vogue red-carpet hosts Ashley Graham and Cara Delevingne, she admitted she felt “so excited and a little nervous,” then added with a laugh, “We’re trying the flowers.” She also shared that getting ready took “four to five hours.”
Rosé arrived in an avian-inspired Yves Saint Laurent dress and told Vogue host La La Anthony that she had been discussing art references with stylist Law Roach ahead of the event. She pointed to Georges Braque’s The Birds, painted on the Louvre ceiling, as a key influence behind the final look, and said researching YSL’s art history helped shape her approach.
Lisa went sculptural in Robert Wun, wearing a veiled gown wrapped with 3D-printed replicas of her own arms. “I’m just so happy to showcase myself in an art form like this,” she said on the carpet. She also teased what’s next: her upcoming Las Vegas residency, revealing it is already sold out and telling fans she is ready to show what she has prepared.
Jennie closed out BLACKPINK’s red-carpet sequence in a shimmering silver Chanel dress by Matthieu Blazy. She said the design featured 15,000 sequined leaves and described herself as “a mosaic art work come alive,” before adding that she was looking forward to reuniting with the other members inside the gala.
While BLACKPINK has shared major red carpets before, including the 2022 MTV VMAs, the 2026 Met Gala spotlighted how differently each member interprets high fashion on her own terms.
